Here at the point we believe in developing future ready citizens, however in most circumstances the future is already here!
That's why ICT plays a pivotal focus at Nichols Point Primary. We are a Google certified school and offer a broad ICT curriculum, including coding and extensive robotics. What our kids continually achieve never ceases to amaze us!
We currently have:
🔸P-6 Students have 1:1 Chromebook/Netbook access which they use daily in their learning.
🔸Preps have access to a class set of Ipads.
🔸BYOD program, allowing kids to bring a device from home.
🔸Class Makey Makey coding kits.
🔸Drones

🔸Plus much more.....we continually add to these resources to remain relevant with our kids.

Once a week, students spend time in specialists classes, these include:
Physical Education
P.E lessons are delivered through timetabled classes where students participate in a variety of activities.
Our Prep-2 students refine their fine motor skills with age appropriate lessons that are fun and engaging. Students learn main stream and modified sports, engage in activities prepared by local sport groups, and further engage in school sporting events such as cross country and athlics training.
Science
Our science room is one to behold!
Featuring Axle the Axolotl and Bob the Bearded Dragon, fly through outer space and explore the wonders of our living and past creatures.
Students focus on fostering scientific literacy and inquiry skills through hands-on activities.
Visual Arts
Visual Arts at NPPS is unique and fosters childrens love for creativity!
Our passionate teaching staff inspire our students to develop conceptual and perceptual ideas through design and inquiry,
visual art techniques using a variety of different materials and developing a knowledge of diverse artists and cultures.

Students learn Auslan as a signed language, using hands and body movements, with no voice.
Lessons involve fun games and activites, learning to use expressive signing, teacher lead demonstrations, songs and group practice.
